The Broker Nun is an unnamed sister of the Hearst Orphan asylum in Paris. She worked as a Broker for the Earl and is responsible for the coming of the akuma in the Phantom Thief G Arc.

She is a middle-aged woman dressed with the traditional religious habit with a black veil, sleeves and a beaded cross necklace. None of her hair is visible.

The religious woman is a greedy person, ready to sell out other humans' and even children's souls to the Earl for money. Adding to her selfishness and lack of empathy, she had no qualms about selling Timothy to the Earl despite presumably taking care of him along with the rest of the children at the orphanage for some time, even going so far to mock him about how much he would sell for while trying to kidnap him and shooting Emilia when she tried to defend him. Like Timothy, she claimed that the money she made from the sale of Timothy would be able to help support the orphanage, but it's clear that isn't her main concern, unlike Timothy.

She also feels detached from the struggle for humanity as she thought allying with the Earl was a good idea and that he was only an enemy to the exorcists. In other words, she believed that the Earl was not an enemy to humanity at large, just exorcists and so as a nom-exorcist, she believed she had nothing to fear. She was proven wrong when an akuma crushed her to death, ignoring her claims that they were allies.

At some point of her life she became a nun in the Hearst Orphan Asylum and a soul broker. She used her position to sell information to the Earl about people likely to be turned into akuma. While no information exists on what she did prior to the Arc in which she was introduced, the fact that she was a soul broker and that she worked in an orphanage that was liable to have several children grieving the loss of parents or guardians, some assumptions about her activities can be made. When Timothy joined the orphanage she didn't understand that he was an accommodator, but once the exorcists came to get him, she immediately informed the Earl.

When the exorcists come to the asylum and discuss with the mother superior she overhears the conversation and realizes that Timothy has an innocence in his forehead. She quickly calls the earl who sends akuma to capture him.

During the attack she draws a gun and shoots Emilia, which is what clues Link into the fact that she isn't an Akuma but instead a broker. She grabs Timothy and plans to bring him to the earl but a level 2 akuma (knows as the Wizard Akuma) uses its power and turns her into a doll. She protests that they are allies but the akuma replies that if she wants to help it she can just become his meal. It proceeds to stomp on her and crush her head.
