We Live Lives of Doubt (迷い生きる僕らは, Mayoi Ikiru Bokura wa) is the two hundred and eighth chapter in the D.Gray-man manga series written and illustrated by Katsura Hoshino.
Synopsis[]
As the newly returned Yu Kanda arrives with Lenalee Lee and Noise Marie in Asian Branch, much to the shock of those around them, the three talk about the departure of Allen Walker, Kanda commenting that he's not surprised by Allen's parting words. When Kanda meets up with Komui Lee and Malcolm C. Lvellie, Lvellie demands to know where Alma Karma's body is, Kanda refuses to tell him, still not forgiving the Order for what had happened. Kanda then walks through the curtain on the other side of the room to see the dying Zuu Mei Chang. When Zuu Mei reveals that he was the one who had proposed the Second Exorcist Project, Kanda touches him and lets him see the lotus blossoms before invoking Mugen and altering it into a cube form. It then liquifies, and Kanda drinks it, Mugen becoming a Crystal Type. Meanwhile, Johnny Gill continues to beg Reever Wenhamm to let him leave the Order, Reever breaking down and telling him he understands his feelings concerning Allen.
Elsewhere in the world, Apocryphos continues searching for Allen.

- Lenalee mentions that Kanda has been bound to the Order longer than "the rest of us". Though she has been with the order for 11 years and he has been for 10 years, this is because she refers to his past life as well.
- This is the second instance in all the records of the great war of the crystal type.
