Long Summary[]
Cross has Allen cancel the Ark's connection to Edo, allowing them to travel outside. Miranda and the others have been grieving their loss and are overjoyed to see them alive. Tiedoll asks about Chaozii's condition, as he will be his new apprentice.
Meanwhile in the Asian Branch, Won informs Bak that that the Ark gate has reopened. Allen and the others have come by to use Bak's telephone to contact HQ, but Bak is startled into an outbreak of hives by Lenalee's appearance. Rohfa cries happy tears, having worried about Allen; Cross asks if she's Allen's woman. Cross starts to leave but Lenalee clings to him, asking him to stay.
Meanwhile, Bak is concerned over Lenalee's hair and purity.
Having opened a gate to HQ, a banner is unfurled as Komui and the other staff welcome the Exorcists home. Komui embraces Lenalee in tears; Cross watches over comatose Krory in the piano room. Miranda deactivates her Innocence, returning all their injuries. They collapse and are taken care of by the medical staff. The head nurse reassures Lenalee that everyone is in good hands.
Komui welcomes Allen home. Armed with a bouquet of flowers, Bak tries to sneak in to see Lenalee, but is deterred by Komui and a variety of obstacles and traps he set. Later, Bak discusses the convenience of the Ark's teleportation with Reever and Johnny, drawing ire from those jealous he gets to use it. Bak ponders over the mystery of the Earl and 7000-year-old technology.
In the medical ward, Komui cries over Lenalee's haircut, and leaves after she promises to make coffee for him once she's better. He gives her a singing body pillow of himself. Miranda notices that Lenalee seems happy to have been able to see her brother.
In the men's infirmary room, Lavi and the others agonize over the loud noises Krory's stomach is making. Kanda tries to leave but Froi stops him, causing him to rampage. Kie and Maosa talk about Chaozii becoming Froi's apprentice and how they plan to be Finders. Lavi asks if Allen wants to go to the cafeteria, but realizes Allen isn't in his bed, just a pile of food remnants.
In the cafeteria, Johnny thanks Allen for trying to save Suman. Tup, Rob and Marvin thank Allen as well, saying Johnny was close with Suman. Allen goes back to the piano room and muses about the 14th's lullaby and how it feels like someone's inside his head.
Allen feels sick, and wonders if he's choosing and walking his own path or not. He asks Tim if someone else had decided this path for him. Apparently the letters for the lyrics on the score were created by him and Mana years ago, and this leads to questions and doubt for Allen. Having followed the trail of food, Lvellie and Link spy on Allen.
Meanwhile in the Black Ark, the Earl is angered after it turns out only 20% of the egg successfully downloaded to the new ark. Lulu Bell says this is a time when they need to create more Akuma, so this is a setback. The Earl concludes the 14th's curse was still alive and well on the old ark, and makes an enraged face in his fury.
