Episode 99

The Noah of Lust (色のノア, Shiki no Noa) is the 99th episode of the D.Gray-Man anime.

Short Summary[]

The Generals move to destroy the egg per Komui's orders. Lulu Bell returns and uses Miranda as a human shield. Johnny goes to retrieve Tup but is taken by an Akuma. The Generals destroy the egg with Allen's help; he saves Miranda and Link retrieves a piece of the egg.

Long Summary[]

The Generals continue to pummel the Akuma. Johnny moves to intercept Tup despite his injuries. The gas from the Akuma lowers visibility. Allen's left eye faintly notices an Akuma presence. Marie informs command that the Akuma have been stopped, and informs Komui about the situation.

Komui orders Marie to protect Miranda, and the Generals to destroy the egg, which Lvellie objects to.

Allen, Reever, Rob, Bookman and Marvin go to try and save their Skullified comrades. Link receives a secret mission from Lvellie. Marie hears a mysterious noise, only for fluid to erupt around Miranda, capturing her. Marie's strings have no effect on Lulu Bell's watery body.

Miranda ends her Innocence activation and time returns for the egg. Marie tries to stall its descent, and the three Generals begin attacking the egg, to little effect. Undeterred, they keep attacking.

Meanwhile, Allen's party advances. When they spot Lulu Bell transformed in the distance with Miranda captured inside, Allen leaves them to try and save his fellow Exorcist. The Skulls continue to depart through Gate 26, but Johnny tackles Tup, trying to prevent him from being taken to the Earl. However, the two Skulls order Tup and he attacks Johnny, sending him flying to the remains of a Giant Akuma.

Eerie arms emerge from the Giant Akuma's eye behind Johnny, grabbing him and pulling him in. Elsewhere, the Generals' attacks on the egg are starting to damage it; Lulu Bell can't block all three of their attacks at once. However, they realize that time is running out before the Egg fully sinks into the gate, and decide to stop holding back for Miranda's sake in favor of destroying the egg.

The Generals prepare to use stronger attacks; Lulu Bell responds by removing Miranda from inside her body and placing her atop the egg. However, as their three attacks fly toward the Egg, Allen jumps in front.

The tremors from the aftershock reach all the way to the command center and Krory's sickroom. Link uses the opportunity to sneak into the Ark gate. In another hall, chandeliers nearly fall onto Chaozii but Kanda grabs a sword and cuts it into pieces.

The egg fully descends into Gate 27. Lulu Bell notices the egg can still be repaired. Just then, she sees a white lump inside the egg ... it's Allen! Crown Clown erodes the egg from within, fully shattering it. Allen exits the Gate, Miranda in his arms. Fragments of the egg go flying. Gate 27 recedes and disappears. Cross reports in to Komui that Lulu Bell fled and the egg was destroyed. Link picks up a fragment of the egg.

Allen is worried about Reever and prepares to return to them; however his left eye activates and detects an Akuma. The sound of childish laughter echoes.
