Why Canon on the Wiki?
Similar to that of the One Piece Wiki, only manga information will be included in the character story sections. This is to avoid confusion and to help readers know the full pure story of D.Gray-man.
What is Canon?
Canon
Only the main manga series will be considered canon, as well as information given by Hoshino herself in things such as fanbooks and interviews.
Non-Canon
Hoshino's previous one-shots Continue and Zone are not considered canon.
Anime-Only
Any anime-only arcs must be indicated as such using the "Non-Canon" template.
The anime, while adapting the manga relatively faithfully, also has some changes; it is preferred that changes to the anime also be in a separate section, if they are extensive, or under 'Trivia', if they are brief in nature.
What is Not Canon?
Fanworks
No fanworks take place in ANY canonical timeline and thus is not placed on the wiki. You also must not link to any fanworks, or to sites that designed to gain profit, especially if they contain download links.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Fanfiction
- Fanart
- Fan Games
- Skits
- Headcanons
